In 2003, this building was entirely renovated to accommodate storefront businesses on the ground floor and offices on the second floor. The ground floor businesses included Merge Restaurant, MJ Peterson, Avenue Art & Frame, and the Allentown Village Society. The offices of the Buffalo Design Collaborative occupied the entire second floor. The interior of the second floor provides six individual offices, a photography studio, a conference room, print room, and kitchen, all connected to a central open work area.
Over time, the building evolved and welcomed new tenants Smith + Co Hairdressing on the ground floor, while the second floor offices became the launching pad for both Schneider Architectural Services and sister company the Schneider Family of Services.
